Evening gremmies. A quick one. We’ve added PJ Radio’s Yield 15th Anniversary show from Sirius Radio hosted by – among others – JR from twofeetthick. You can find it here. It’s also been added to gremmie radio for future downloading. Enjoy.
Good evening gremmies. By now you’ve heard that our friends at Antiquiet have unearthed and released new Eddie Vedder demos. No? Well here’s their news post about it. The tracklist may look familiar because most of the songs have been on the dot net for several years.
Good morning gremmies; a quick one. We’ve added this year’s ho-hum Christmas Single to the Christmas Singles page on the dot net. Why ho-hum? Two live tracks from PJ20? Don’t we have enough live tracks to listen to? Are we spoiled? Seems that way. Whatever your opinion you can find them here.
This evening a package came in the post the size of a book. I thought to myself, “This must be a book.” I know: genius. A book? I didn’t order a book. Inside was a copy of Picture in a Frame, a book by Jennifer Sando which threads a whimsical, patchwork narrative of one girl’s quest to shoot a portrait of Eddie Vedder.
2012 wasn’t a prolific year for Pearl Jam. They toured Europe for a smidge, played three festivals and a corporate gig in the US, and may or may not have recorded demos for their next album. That’s about it. Here are the top 5 things we’d like to see from the band in 2013.
gremmie Brian Moore emailed us recently and offered us a quality copy of the show’s soundcheck. Naturally, we said “yes now please thank you”. It wasn’t proper English, but since Brian is accustomed to our frenetic charge he got the point. Long story short, we’ve added the soundcheck to the MTV Unplugged set. You can find it here.
