the dmb side of gremmie.net is now closed due to a

request by the management of the dave matthews band that demands websites not host studio material or direct

downloads of fan recordings. while i know this comes as

a disappointment to many of you, it's appropriate to

respect the band's wishes, personal opinions aside.

 

i won't be available on antsmarching.org to answer

questions nor pursue the proposed writing campaign to

keep the site afloat because i have been banned until

the year 2011 by the staff. See below:

calling people morons - not me, I can take it, but the

other people can't

This is what I see when I attempt to logon. You see, the

brain trust at antsmarching.org, after a lengthy thread

discussion on thursday, july 8th, 2009 were unhappy with what could only be perceived as a progressive

discussion. The irony is that the rationale for my

banning is rooted in name calling. If the thread still

existed (it was deleted right after I was banned) the

one thing you would glean would have been my desire to

foster a constructive discussion.

 

What strikes me as phony is that in their inifite wisdom

the staff masks my banning as a measure to protect their users. The very same users who had viewed and commented on the thread more than 3,000 times in a period of 8 hours.

 

In closing, it doesn't matter anyway. The circus show at

antsmarching.org will continue. The snobs will remain

uptight and myopic, barking about the integrity of SHN

and FLAC while chaining themselves unreservedly to

whatever the band produces and mutters. The jokers will

keep the gravity light. The decent denizens will fight the good fight. Doughnuts will still roll, jelly and all.
