lost dogs

Lost Dogs is a double-disc collection of B-sides and other released and unreleased material. Lost Dogs sold 89,500 copies in its first week of release and debuted at number fifteen on the Billboard 200 chart. Lost Dogs has been certified gold by the RIAA.

At least, that’s what Wikipedia tells gremmie.net.

Considering the band’s proclivity for releasing b-sides on maxi-singles, Pearl Jam could have simply rounded up the existing tracks, repackaged, and sold the collection as-is. However, the band went a few steps further.Songs like “Alone” and Footsteps”, and others songs fans had heard prior to its relelease were either re-recorded or touched up (see also: Driftin’). But it was new b-sides like “Hold On”, “In the Moonlight”, and “All Night” that gave the double-disc a unique personality.

That bit about “Bee Girl” being in honor of Shannon Hoon is not true. It’s actually about the girl that was in the “No Rain” music video. Someone must have added it to the wikipedia article, but I removed it.

I was wondering since “Hold On” is on the Ten sessions then who played drums on it Dave Krusen or Dave Abbruzzese?

Can someone tell me when the song Sad was recorded? Or, I guess by telling me the drummer I can narrow it down haha
